Size is no guarantee of strength, as the magicolor® 2450 demonstrates perfectly. Taking up little space on a desk, it prints at 5 pages per minute in colour and 20 pages per minute in mono, with first page print-out in just 12 seconds.

Power is delivered by means of an Emperon controller. This provides superb compatibility and versatility, allowing printing from any major application and environment. Still more power comes in the form of rapid page-processing and 128 MB RAM, allowing you to speed through heavy print jobs in no time.

A standard 200-sheet capacity is expandable to a hefty 700-sheets with an additional feeder. This level of capacity means you won’t have to interrupt important print jobs in order to load extra paper. In the meantime, adding an automatic duplex unit allows the benefit of two sided printing.

Access to consumables – only five of which need replacing – is through the front of the printer, making maintenance completely straightforward.

The magicolor® 2450 utilises 9600 x 600 dpi Photo ART™ contone technology for unrivalled print quality. Varying individual pixel colour much more than normal, Photo ART™ contone accentuates printing precision, enhances image detail and provides smoothly graduated colour tones. Print quality and consistency is further refined through the use of Simitri™ polymerised toners and eAIDC (enhanced Automatic Image Density Control). The result is photo-quality prints from a small printer that have to be seen to be believed.

Direct Photo Print
The magicolor® 2450 lets you print photos direct from any PictBridge-compliant digital camera3. It’s a fast and easy way to print your photos without the inconvenience of going through a computer. Simply connect, choose the photo you want and print.
